ENGAGEMENT
We engage with our customers in various modes – advisory, strategy consulting, business and operations consulting or technical. In our engagements, we take recourse to any one of the following delivery models.
Onsite Model
With our engineers deputed at client site, this model makes eminent sense for the client with close and frequent customer interaction and a first-hand feel for the situation. Jenesys works with the existing IT teams of customers or their implementation partners, providing them with onsite delivery capabilities through our skilled project managers, consultants, software architects and engineers.
This model is best suited for situations where there is a lot of end-user/customer interaction and works well for projects that require ongoing development and maintenance, while at the same time need the flexibility to quickly scale up in scope and deliverables.
Offshore Model
This model entails one or more onsite project coordinator/manager who is deputed onsite to interfaces with the client and the team offshore.
All development is carried out of our facilities in India with Jenesys becoming a virtual extension of the client’s environment with dedicated resources and infrastructure. The customer has access to these resources on a continuing basis and can choose to use them for their operational needs. Deliverables are made through high-speed digital communication link, the Internet or any media of the customer's choice.
This model is ideal when there is lot of clarity in the specs and interactions are limited, especially during the development phase. This model is cost-effective as the relationship matures.
Hybrid Model
We offer a 24/7 development service with a mix of our onsite and offshore models. This is achieved by deploying a small team of our software architects and engineers at client site where they design the application and work in tandem with the development team at our facilities in India, providing scalable, "just in time" development capacity in a cost-effective manner. This model helps the client focus on their core business needs, while Jenesys manages the software delivery. The onsite and offshore teams are tightly knit into a cohesive team working in unison.
This approach is extremely effective when the project involves support, maintenance and application functionality enhancement of the customer’s application systems on an ongoing basis. Typically, such projects demand a very quick response and turnaround times.
Dedicated Development Center
Our JDDC (Jenesys Dedicated Development Center) is integrated with the client’s existing processes so that that it fully supports design, development, QA, version control, backup and recovery. Additionally, power back-ups, network and system security, security of IT and communication infrastructure, and IPR protection mechanisms of client’s products, projects and technologies are also taken care of.
Under this model, the customer pays for pre-developed products, materials, process set-ups and all resources deployed under a yearly contract. Billing of resources at the contracted rate and of other actual expenses (as approved by the customer) is done on a monthly basis.
